The Performers [ROUGH CUT]

The Performers [ROUGH CUT]

Since the 15th century, the profession of ballet has entertained spectators from royal courts to common theaters. For modern performers, it still offers an escape from reality - the opportunity to live inside a fictional narrative. "In that sense, you do leave your body," veteran performer and ballet instructor Larry Crabtree said. "You become that character."

A rough cut of my final project in multimedia storytelling at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Special thanks to all the dancers of BalletMet Columbus, Mary Ann Adornato, Candy Costa and Larry Crabtree for their participation.
